Official releases are racing to catch up
The U.S. manga market is growing fast, from an estimated $1.06 billion in 2024 to $1.28 billion in 2025, with $3.73 billion projected by 2030¹. Legitimate platforms are scaling to keep up: Crunchyroll Manga's catalog passed 400 titles in May 2026 after adding 23 series from Kodansha USA². That race against piracy is why speed matters as much as scale. Unauthorized scans still reach readers faster than most official releases, and Japan's content industry loses trillions of yen (tens of billions of dollars) a year to piracy, according to a 2025 study by CODA, PwC, and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry³. A faster, well-made official release is still the best answer to that.

What's actually slowing your launch down
Translation is the bottleneck
Most publishers licensing Japanese titles don't have an in-house team that can turn around accurate, on-voice English pages at the pace a real release schedule demands.
Machine translation without editing loses the story
A raw MT pass can get the words right and the character wrong. Tone, running jokes, and speech patterns don't survive a literal translation.
Contracts need the same care as the content
Licensing agreements, rights language, and NDAs carry legal weight. A mistranslated clause is a business risk, not a style note.
Scanlations already have a head start
By the time an official release ships, an unauthorized translation may already have reached readers. Speed to market is now part of the business case for licensing a title at all.
Every market wants it at the same time
A title picked up for North America is often going out in Europe or Latin America too, and coordinating several languages on one schedule multiplies the workload.
Everything between a signed license and a finished release
01
Manga & Light Novel Translation
Transcreation, not word substitution. Our entertainment linguists translate for tone, character voice, and pacing, so a joke lands the same way in English as it did in Japanese.
02
Anime Dubbing & Subtitling Scripts
Lip-sync-ready dub scripts and timed subtitle files, adapted for North American voice direction rather than translated line by line.
03
DTP, Lettering & Digital Production
Retouching, re-lettering, and export to EPUB, vertical-scroll webtoon formats, or print-ready files, so what lands in your inbox is ready to send to print or upload to your platform.
04
Marketing & Packaging Localization
Trailers, back-cover copy, social captions, event materials, and packaging for merchandise collaborations, written so the pitch lands with the same energy for a North American audience.
05
Contracts & Licensing Documents
Licensing agreements, rights language, and NDAs translated with the legal precision those documents require.
06
Multi-Language, Simultaneous Release
One glossary, one schedule, every language, for titles launching in North America, Europe, and Latin America at the same time.
What's different about how we translate
AI-drafted, linguist-finished
Our patented correction technology (Patent No. 7764079) cleans up the machine-translated first pass, and a linguist reviews the result against the source text before delivery.
Linguists who know the medium
Our linguists specialize in manga, anime, and light novel translation.
ISO 17100 & ISO 27001 certified
Internationally audited translation quality and information security, with NDAs available for titles ahead of public announcement.
One vendor, start to finish
We handle translation, editing, lettering, and file production as one coordinated process, which means fewer handoffs between vendors.
Built to scale with your catalog
The same team, glossary, and quality process carries over as your catalog grows, so voice and terminology stay consistent release after release.
Everything an IP needs to travel
One team handles the manga, the anime scripts, the contracts, the marketing copy, and the event materials for a single launch.
How a project starts
1. Tell us about the title
A short call about the series, the timeline, and what "on-voice" means for this property.
2. See a sample first
We translate a few pages or a scene at no cost, so you can judge the voice before committing to anything.
3. Production
Hybrid AI-plus-human translation (MT + post-editing), editing, and file production, tracked against the schedule we agreed on.
4. Delivery, and a glossary that keeps growing
Every project builds a term base and translation memory we reuse on your next title, for faster turnarounds and tighter consistency over time.
Questions we get from publishers
Will AI translation change how the characters sound?
Not in our process. AI produces the first-pass translation, our patented correction technology cleans it up, and a linguist reviews tone, character voice, and context before anything ships. The AI speeds up the first draft — it doesn't have the final say.
Can you keep an unannounced title confidential?
Yes. We're ISO 27001 certified for information security, and we routinely sign NDAs for titles ahead of public announcement.
Do you handle the finished files, or just the translation?
Both, if that's what you need. We can deliver translated text on its own, or take a title all the way through lettering, DTP, and export-ready files for print or digital release.
We don't have a style guide or glossary yet. Can we still start?
Yes. We build one as we go. Every project adds to a term base and translation memory, so consistency and turnaround time improve with each volume or episode.
Do you only work in English, or other languages too?
English is where most of our entertainment clients start, but we work in more than 40 languages, which matters if a title is also launching in Europe or Latin America on the same schedule.
