Translation Services

How is translation priced?

We charge by word count or character count of your source document. Since the per word/character price varies by content or service level, please contact us for a free quote. We typically respond within one business day.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Turnaround time depends on volume, subject matter, and your chosen service level. As a general benchmark, a standard one-page document can be delivered in as little as two business days. For larger or more complex projects, we'll design a workflow tailored to your timeline. Just share your deadline, and we'll let you know what's possible.

How do you ensure translation quality?

We are certified to ISO 17100, the international standard for translation services, and our processes reflect that commitment. Every project goes through a structured workflow: translation, bilingual review by a second linguist, and a final quality check. All translators are native speakers of their working language with verified subject-matter experience. So for specialized content, you're getting both linguistic precision and domain expertise. We can also work to your existing style guide and glossary, or build them for you.

How do you protect the confidentiality of our documents?

Confidentiality is taken seriously at every step. All team members including our freelance translators sign NDAs when they start working with us, and we can execute a client-specific NDA upon request. Files are handled through secure channels in compliance with ISO 27001, the international standard for information security management.

What content types do you handle, and do you have industry specialists?

We handle a wide range of business content, from corporate websites and marketing materials to contracts, technical manuals, and industry-specific documentation. Our translator network includes specialists across fields such as IT, medical, manufacturing, legal, and finance, so each project is matched to a linguist with relevant domain knowledge, not just language ability.

Do you handle urgent or rush projects?

Yes, we accept rush requests depending on availability. We don't offer a separate expedited service tier, but contact us with your deadline and volume, and we'll give you an honest assessment of what we can deliver.

Do you offer pricing benefits for ongoing or high-volume clients?

Yes. Clients with recurring projects or high monthly volumes are eligible for preferential pricing. We're also open to discussing custom SLAs and dedicated workflows for long-term partners. Contact us to discuss what makes sense for your situation.

Which translation platforms and CAT tools do you work with?

We work with all major CAT tools and translation management systems, including XTM, memoQ, SDL Trados, Phrase, and Smartling. If you use a platform not listed here, let us know; we can almost always accommodate it.

Do you support software and app localization?

Yes. We work directly with source files including .md, .yaml, .json, .xml, and .html. For clients who want to reduce the burden of linguistic testing, we also offer Rigi integration as an optional service, a cloud-based platform that visualizes web app UI in context during the translation process.

Can you handle subtitling, dubbing, and voiceover projects?

We cover the full process for subtitling, dubbing, and voiceover across a range of content — marketing and how-to videos, workshop and seminar recordings, and workplace training materials. Depending on your needs, we can handle the entire workflow or support specific stages, including working directly on your platform such as Amara or Articulate.
